Veldskoen en Mampoer, ou skool koel
A vintage style design with a line art Veldskoen, liquor glass and wording. This design was created especially for the Saffers (South Africans) wanting to showcase some old school South African humour. Two variations were made, one in Afrikaans with the wording ‘Veldskoen en Mampoer, ou skool koel.’ and the other variation translated into English ‘Veldskoen and Mampoer, old school cool.’
Veldskoen (also known as vellies) are tough and lightweight South African walking shoes. Mampoer is a high quality fruit liquor moonshine made in South Africa.
